Hi all

 

Does anyone know how to do a hard reset of the Nav-Ent system?

 

My radio is stuck. It allows me to go in, where it is stuck in DAB and then returns to main menu.

 

All the other options, Maps, Nav, Phone, Media etc... are working fine.

 

Before I take it in for the garage, I just want to reset it myself. Have tried the soft reset in the options menu.

 

Any help much appreciated.

Like a hard reset is also when disconnect it from battery.
But after is asking the code. You have to know it before start this procedure.

OK thanks. I've got the code, so I can try that. I also saw that you can go into a secret menu and test the radio. How do you do that?

Ha. You noticed. Bought it in Germany. Spend my time between UK and Germany. Left hand drive.

The hiden menu is not for play end user. You can brick your unit easy.

Makes sense now ! Not much gets past me !!

Problem partially sorted. Got the FM/AM radio working by using the controls on the steering wheel before the screen froze up. DAB still stuck unless someone knows how I can search for all the DAB channels without using the touch screen.

 

At least now I can wait till I take it for it's first service.

Just a thought. Has the radio worked on DAB in the UK. Germany is DAB+ and also uses the L Band not used in the UK. Is there a country setting?

Cheers. Not used it in the UK since it stuck. Just Germany and France.
