I’m interested in two further modifications

1. Disabling the TPMS to avoid the lights when I have my alloys on

and

2. Changing the instrument lighting to white.

If anyone finds out where these settings are could they post it please.

you cannot polish a turd ... but you can paint it gold and roll it glitter

I don't think you can. If you watch this video;

https://www.youtube....NcB&app=desktop

He physically changes the LEDs for the computer window and at one point at 21:30 he does a test of the board before reassembly and the colour difference can be clearly seen.

There are only two pads for the LEDs so I can not see how they could be multi-colour.

I have googled ddt4all and one of the early results is this Russian website;

https://www.drive2.r...765478629081555

The most interesting page is this;

https://www.drive2.r...93336985338243/

As you can see a clever Russian Gentleman has done all the heavy lifting and created a Windows installation executable for Dacia called;

ddt4all Dacia.exe

I have loaded this on XP and it connects to my bluetooth ELM 327 bluetooth dongle which I can at the moment run under power only and allows selection of the various menus. I can not test further at the moment as I do not have a laptop and my car is too far away for a bluetooth connection in situ until I find a solution.

N.B. If you use google translate the download will not work, you have to be in Russian.

My dongle was auto setup on COM11 and COM12. The ddt4all required COM11 to be selected to connect.

Folks,

There is a fairly active thread on this very software and features on the Daciaworld site, 'lighting up the dashboard' for instance I have just changed my wiper stalk for the Clio iv item and now have 4 intrmittent wipes. interesting stuff indeed.

Some Clio Mk2 stalks have a variable wipe which  Der Baum, who posted on the German forum the hardware backlight mod, said could be configured with software (he also said the backlight could be done with software) but never said how to get said software.

This is  a possible stalk but please verify before purchase.

DO NOT buy the stalk with AUTO on it - they don't work.  I got my stalk yesterday for £25 so well pleased.

HSA ??

Hill Start Assist. According to the Polish forum this can be activated if you have ABS/ESC. I just wondered if anyone had been brave enough. The foreign forums also talk about auto window closing when central locking, I think that will only be available on windows with the switches on the door armrest and turning off Stop/Start and TPMS amongst others.

I may try activating the onboard computer tomorrow.

P.S I had to post this under Win XP Firefox due to detection of Insecure Connections and malicious software scripts from the website and unable to post with an up to date browser.. Are others having the same problems

My car already has all those items fitted (2016) except the auto window with central locking, can you post a link to that

forum? must admit the best changes for me so far are always lit dash and intermittent wipers.

cheers

If you type "ddt4all dacia" into google and look for daciaklub.pl you can use google translate. I don't know if it is possible to post a link into the translation.

I downloaded a program off the web, accessed the cars computer and now have the dashboard lights permanently on when the ignition is on - much easier than faffing about with additional lights.

I also have 'three flash' touch indicators, no seatbelt warning and the on board computer that my model shouldn't have.

All done through the OBD11 port.

Please can you tell me what program from the web you use?

The program is DDT4ALL. This link has a download for a Windows installer that is Dacia specific.There are versions for Linux and MacOS but require more work.

https://www.drive2.r...93336985338243/

There is this write up on the German forum.

https://translate.go...40/&prev=search

They call it Tacho activate continuous lighting,

You need a ELM327 dongle. If you look around there are ones that are known to work.

Anyone got this to work on a 19 plate Logan Stepway?

I can get in fine with ddt4all and have got the time displayed on the dash now but there's no sign of an option (the mythical screen 2 others have mentioned in the european forums) to turn on the dash lights on permanently.
