Hello! New Logan Bi-Fuel Owner

I'm just bought a 70 plate Logan 100 TCE Bi-Fuel Essential. My first Dacia!
I've come out of a MK4 Mégane, as we needed more load space and something cheap to run.
First impressions are very good, especially when a full tank of LPG is £19! Very good engine and it has all of what you need, and nothing that you don't. I'm only on day two of ownership, and already I'm liking the Dacia experience.
I wonder if I'm one of the last Bi-Fuel Logan's to be registered in the UK ahead of the new model next year?!
Great to join what looks like a great forum.
Thanks,
Ben

Glad you are enjoying your time with the Dacia!
My first too, coming from a Honda Civic type S to a Duster 1.3 Prestige in ASBO orange.
Enjoy, Don E.C.C.

Welcome to the forum, Dacia they just do what they say on the box, like a hotel room, neat basic rooms that are comfortable clean and colourful.

Hi Ben,
Yes, you almost certainly will be, and unfortunately Dacia has decided not to replace the MCV in the new range, which is a great shame as many current Logan owners will be left with no reasonable alternative in the range and once it's time to change, will revert to used Fords, Vauxhalls etc.
Apparently they "only" made up 5% of sales; I think they're assuming they will be able to upsell returning customers to Dusters, but that won't be a realistic choice for many who need the combination of space, practicality and price offered by the MCV, and I think it's far more likely they have simply written off much of that 5%.
A great shame.

Shame to hear that they won't be continuing with the MCV. Seems like it's an odd decision, as it's got to be high on anyone's list who values space, affordability and the peace of mind of buying new.
I've always liked cars that are a bit different and not following the herd - the LPG was a bit of a gamble, but luckily there's a few petrol stations near me that have it. The engine is a beaut - certainly nicer than the diesel in the Mégane.
Quick question - the specs for the 2020 Essential MCV say four speakers, but mine only has two in the front (the rears are blanks). Anyone else had this issue? Is the wiring in place to fit?
Thanks again!

Early on there always seemed to be a variation in the specs and what one got, I would take it up with the dealership but feel you will get a lot of bull ending with read the small print.

Welcome. Many people have found the wiring in place... but not all. I think you'll have a good chance that you'll have it pre wired.
Is the wiring in place to fit?
Thanks again!

There is a thread somewhere where someone uprated all their speakers, with detail of the rears if it comes to it.
I think it was a Duster though, but I imagine the rear speakers would be the same, but my imagination is a worrying place at times!!

I've contacted the dealer, and I'll wait to see what happens. With two young kids in the back, no rear speakers isn't an option!
Still can't believe they're not continuing the Logan in the UK.

I wonder how we used to manage with one optional speaker
