First journey of distance since I got the car new in October,Fife to Whitley Bay.Used Media Nav for directions was good with beeps to announce speed cameras on A1 route. My old car Mazda 6 just announced speed camera ahead, found the seats comfortable on the three hour drive.
Coped with 70mph speed limits easily, with beeps when you exceeded limit, overtaking was no problem and averaged 49 mpg on the round trip.
Done 2600 miles with car now and very pleased with how it drives, have used Tesco premium E45 petrol from new.

Bought mine in April 2021, one of the first gen 3 sandero stepways. 1.0 ECO-G, 6 speed manual. Bought it in EU, so I'm not sure which trim level it corresponds as of now. It has the "big" multimedia with wired android auto/apple car play, rear parking sensor, digital AC and that's about it. No heated seats, no wireless charging, etc. I've done about 12k miles so far, so about 4000 miles/year, yes, I don't drive much. 2 weeks in and both rear power windows went out. Replaced within another 2 weeks. Last year the multimedia went out. Blacked out screen, no inputs, nothing. Fortunately the car was at least drivable. That was pain in the a$$ to repair under warranty. Local dealer wasn't really keen on repairing it, so I had to escalate to the french HQ. Unfortunately they still messed up the replacement. What should have been 1 day work turned into 2 weeks with no car mess. They couldn't reprogram the unit after replacement. Apparently I "blew" the electronics within the piece of sh*t multimedia. The guy, who diagnosed it initially told me, that it has 2 recorded "overheated" events. So don't turn up the volume too much. I don't go over 15 after the replacement. They specifically told me if I blew it again I'll pay for the replacement from my own pocket. Last winter the infamous LPG sensor thingy went out. When it was cold it wasn't switching to LPG and once switched it was randomly running very rough. Thankfully they've replaced that one without any fussing about it. AC is performing very very poorly, even if it's not scorching hot, like 40 degrees celsius or something. The poor thing struggles even when it's around or a bit below 30 degrees celsius. I've been told on all renault/dacia cars the AC is sh*t and is very undercalculated for the given model. Overall pretty disappointed with the car. The bad thing for me is, that I bought it exactly before the prices skyrocketed and even if I sell it, I'll have to pay sh*tload of money to even get something similar from the competition and much more if I want something decent. I hope I don't run into more serious issues with it. Regardless of everything I'm planning to keep it for another 2 years, until all the warranty is over and then I'll explore my options again. Can't really recommend neither the dacia as a brand nor the sandero stepway as a model.

Fantastic car, altough I had 2 issues with delivery. (dacia sandero stepway extreme ECO-G 100 from 2023)

1. Little damage on the door, was quickly fixed.
2. The roof box carrier was not alligned right, meaning that I couldn't use it. My advise is to check this thoroughly, as I did not.

Other than that, great car, good acceleration (on LPG) and very comfortable for long drives!
