Bought new hybrid duster in march and already had emergency braking firing 3 times for no reason. Lost confidence in car and switch the feature off every time now.
Awful service from dealership who didn't seem to understand that this is a big safety issue.
The last time it happened was at 30mph and luckily the driver behind was alert.
Anyone else having this?

Hi, no not sorted.
It finally got into garage a couple of weeks ago, they had it for a week but couldn't find the fault or recreate.
I don't think they quite understood what was happening and they said just putting it down to dirt on a sensor or something like that.
When I explained that when it happens there is supposed to be audible warnings, dashboard warnings and an initial pump on the brakes before the full emergency stop.

With us none of the pre-warningd happened and it was just an immediate emergency stop. They looked more worried when that sank in but they still did nothing. They said they couldn't reject the car and replace because they couldn't find a fault.
They offered to part ex it with goodwill discount so I will be getting a new Renault soon.
It was that or fight for months with dacia. This is a very dangerous issue as far as I am concerned.

Yes, the garage we have ours in today rang, they have seen it beep and flash up brake twice but no active braking events
So they are now taking front number off tomorrow to check the radar, and then if nothing is found, giving it back to us, with a "no fault found" diagnosis.

I have been onto another Dacia Main Dealer, and they have seen this issue with 3 or 4 of their customers and solved it for them, by recalibrating the radar,

Guess where mine is going once Dealer 1 is finished faffing around with it? :)
