Ok maybe its a stupid question.

When fitting the dog guard I tipped the seats forward as per the manual, but I had trouble hooking the metal bit, I found the seat base is hinged and also tips forward but is just an ugly bit os squashy foam. What is the reason for this to tip as there is nothing under here and the seat backs tip over it. And why are there 4 seat belt bottom bits and only 3 belts!!

1. If you take the headrests out, the seat backs will lie completely flat.

2. There are 4 seatbelt buckles because the middle belt has two fastenings making it a full seatbelt as opposed to just a lap belt. The manual will explain this better.

Hope this helps, ;)
