Its a nightmare....

They are broken and can't be fixed....

AND

are going to have to be replaced

AND

are not covered by warranty......

CS can't help....

neither can the dealer...

AND

the sales of goods act just won't cover them...

:( :( :(

its not his fault...but an elderly confused gentleman lashed out at me at work

my glasses went flying

and a colleague of mine didn't see them and trod on them....

the opticians has now held them together with sellotape....

but they are broken,....going to cost a fortune....will have to wait to pay day in 10 days time

:( :( :( :(

D&M unless you have a difficult prescription you can get your glasses on t'web. I usually buy a couple of cheap pairs for work at about £20 a pair and a few other 'nice' pairs in the £30-50 range for off time. I buy from Goggles4you http://www.goggles4u.com/ and Zenni Optical http://www.zennioptical.com/

It generally takes about 10 days for glasses to arrive from either supplier and in 6 years or so I've never been let down by them.

/edit Why does this forum always f*** links up??

Unless you've had one done within two years, then it's about £30. When you get your eyes tested ask them to give you your prescription if they don't offer it.

I got my eyes tested at Tesco for nothing, and I got some "designer" prescription sunglasses from SpeccyFourEyes for £19.99 including p&p via a MartinLewis link/voucher,
