You might be surprised to hear, but a ten year old car isn't young anymore. It's only worth as much as what someone is prepared to pay for it. I have a Vauxhall Viva that is ten years old and it's only got 31,400 miles on the clock. It's worth around £4.5k to the right buyer. For insurance purposes, it's valued at around £1k less.

Remember, there will be many factors involved in the worth of the car. If I look at a motor, one of the first things I do, is look at the MoT history. That can throw up a lot of eye openers I can tell you! So make sure your MoT history doesn't look like your car's had a rough time before you think it's worth more than it is.

 

You're in banger territory, there are a couple of dealer sites offering 2014 Sanderos for about £2000, obviously, you won't command this amount. You'll need to search for similar cars near you and make a judgement. It will depend on it's condition and who you are selling it to.

 

That is why I am keeping my perfect 2013 Sandero Stepway Laureate dCi with 59,000 on the clock. I see no need to change it except maybe for vanity(!)
