Diesel duster randomly stalling at junctions

Hi,

I have owned my 1.5 adblue diesel duster since 2019. It has been a great vehicle but I have had this random issue with it. It's been happening occasionally since I purchased it new.
Sometimes it will lose power and stall after being sat at a junction. Last time it was dangerous as it happened on a busy roundabout. Sat waiting for my turn, move off then it stalls. I usually dip the clutch and try bump starting but it always eventually dies untill I switch off the ignition and restart.
It could possibly be the stop/start tech stopping at the most inconvenient time...
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this issue.?

? Mileage. ? Warning lights. U said u have the problem since new.

Stalling ain't good & neither is the 'bump starting' after that!

Get it scanned w/ a good scanner. Check DPF data, diesel common rail pressure, crankshaft & camshaft sensor data. The crankshaft & camshaft sensors are synchronized every time u start the engine. If synchronization is lost it will be recorded & doesn't get deleted.

No warning lights illuminated. Currently mileage is at 66k. Driven 250 miles per week. No dpf faults.
I wasn't aware using the momentum to restart the engine 'bump' was an issue...? Not that it had ever restarted like that after such an event. It has always required turning the ignition off and restarting. Prior to and after the event car runs perfectly.
If the cam/crank sensors lost synchronization surely it would trigger a EML, besides it has been doing this occasionally since new.
It's an issue that happens maybe once a month, so not a massive issue just wondered if anyone else has experienced this behaviour?

No didn't take it back to dealer. Initially put it down to being too fast to raise the clutch and not giving it enough throttle and it only happens very occasionally. They would never have been able to reproduce the fault. It's that random..

I've had experience with 2 cars, not Dacia, that exhibited the problem you describe in both cases it was the crankcase position sensor that was faulty. In neither case was it detected with a scanner.
Hope you find your issue.

I've had this happen on and off (pun intended) with several Dacias, and I've put it down to the stop-start mechanism kicking in when I least expect/want it.

Try disabling it for a while, and see if tge problem reoccurs...
