I’ve seen a Duster Prestige FWD in that orange colour with 58K miles on a 68 plate up for 9K. It’s the diesel engine.
It’s had 3 owners which is to me a lot. Big question is it a bit pricy ? In fairness it looks a nice car but maybe a bit too much ??
Opinions please ? Cheers

The pandemic had a big influence on people moving cars on early, especially those on finance.
Ours is a two previous owner car, I have since discovered that it suffered a lot of issues with it's emissions system early on that were resolved by a second dealer after the car was sold early by the first owner.
The second owner moved it on to an auction during the pandemic.

Common problems, you'll find plenty if you have a look through the Duster specific area, water ingress is the most frequent I think.
Although other issues will be found on here.
Short journeys and DPF's don't mix so I would avoid the diesel model.
Although the DPF can regenerate at tickover speed it's the length of the journey that determines whether it can complete the process properly, it's when it fails to do so repeatedly that the problems begin.
Fromt John. I would have put 4WD if it was four wheels driven. 👍👍

I have a 68 plate "orange" Duster with 65K miles. I bought it three years ago when it had 42k on it. I think the price is maybe a bit high. I'm not sure I would recommend buying it. Firstly because it is diesel. Secondly my Duster reminds me of Fords I had back in the 80s and 90s. I.e. when they got to 60k miles lots of things started failing (in the case of my Duster after 50K miles) - since I bought mine I've had to replace three track rod ends (in just over one year - maybe partly because the car is a hard ride), the entire exhaust (7 weeks to get the bits), the propshaft, ALL the brake pipes, the rear shock absorbers and a temperature sensor that completely screwed up the engine stop/start system and all the media and all the computer warning systems. Also I don't like the satnav. But, I treat the car with kid gloves. I absolutely have not abused it. I sometimes wonder if it was built by ex British Leyland workers on a Friday afternoon! With the mileage you mentioned I would be wary, especially after three owners. Also check all the trim and upholstery inside - it's not very durable. Good luck.
