Recently my wife had a small bump on the front of our 2013 Dacia Sandero diesel. Minimal damage (mainly just the licence plate is bent). Happened as she was coming out of our drive way; foot slipped and ended up bumping into our fence. (strong fence).
This did not cut out the engine but once it had been turned off it would not start again.
The engine currently starts for a second and then cuts out. We got a guy to look it over and connect his laptop to it - showed that the fuel pressure was reading 1200 psi when it only needs 300 psi. recommended a new fuel pressure regulator.
Regulator purchased, installed. still the same problem. No Change. Starts for a second then cuts out.
Could this be the crash sensor or internal computer cutting out the engine due to a 'crash'?
Any help would be appreciated.
