Was pleased to arrive home from work to the log book and tax disc for the Duster (must come up with a name other than my 4yo sons suggestion of Just'a the duster) and a letter from Renault congratulating me on the ownership of my new Renault car??
I was getting a little worried about the lack of tax disk because it seems not many police officers (according to my neighbour) are aware of the new legislation about the displaying of said tax disk going from 5 - 14 days before issuing a penalty notice.
Now feel its officially my motor and can relax a little about being stopped.

Nothing like getting the V5 Through!

The tax disc thing started in July. We are having a hell of a time at work as we have just replaced 50 truck units so im telling driver after driver its ok to go out without the tax disc.... they should be here next week though thankfully.

My tax disc came on the 3rd of September so only 2 driving days without it, but Mrs S had printed out the DVLA guidelines and put it in the glovebox to show any ill-informed police!.... Very efficient is Mrs S... I often refer to her as my P.A ;)
