Today's job was rather easy, swapping the front indicator bulbs from Amber to Silver to remove the fried egg look.

Difficulty:- Very easy

I used these bulbs

remember to use a silvered bulb with an offset pin, 581 is the fitment type

Access to the drivers side is fine,

But due to battery cables access was tighter but easily sorted by disconnecting the adjuster cable temporarily

The bulb holders twist out

Remember to refit the adjuster cable if you disconnected it

Twist bulb holder back in and job is done. Do the other side and it looks a lot better

£14 from Halfords. Picked there as it was convenient, might be able to pick them up online cheaper. I'll get in about the rear clusters soon once I've located some of the little connectors that got in the factory loom plug. :)
I've put these 'silver' indicator bulbs into all of the cars I've owned,it's a simple but quality upgrade to the standard orange bulbs, looking good NineCherries, and thanks for all the pics you've posted, happy days!
