Hi guys, sorry to mess things up in here, but I just can't find the thread with instructions for mounting and removal of the old original stereosystem. Anyone knows where the thread is?

As ColdDacia says the radio looks the same. The eBay fascia adaptor should work if you're fitting a square cornered unit.

So if I finally understands this correct, the fascia unit I need is only the frame to fit round the Pioneer x3600 unit? And thanks for the video by the way, I don't speak any german, but it looked like an easy thing to do, and I guess mounting the DAB antenna is just as easy. Might give it a try on my own then.

It's the frame round the unit and includes the mounting brackets to fit the Dacia since the ones that come with the radio most likely won't work.

The DAB antenna fitting depends what type you have, internal ones are a doddle to fit but external is no so straight forward. The steep angle of the roof and the closeness to the front edge make it difficult to get an external DAB aerial to look right. I've done it but it points very slightly forwards because (so far) you can't get a rake adjustable one.

To get the steering wheel controls to work you need this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CTSDC002-Dacia-Duster-Sandero-Logan-PIONEER-Car-Stereo-Steering-Wheel-Interface-/271441081782?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3f332635b6

Make sure you buy the CTSD002 not the CTSD001, the 001 is for pre 2012 models.

Check with the seller that it comes with the Pioneer lead, if not you'll need this as well http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Connects2-Pioneer-Stalk-Patch-Lead-/171381818725?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item27e7270565

Both are easy to fit when the time comes.

It was a facelift, not a complete rewire :D

If you buy any other unit you'll have to get the appropriate lead to connect it to the CTSD002. The one in your link says it's compatible with steering wheel controls but there doesn't seem to be a socket on the back to connect to. One of the neutral feedbacks they got was for that unit, buyer saying it doesn't come with all the features described.

Also the Duster uses a Fakra radio aerial connector so you might need an adaptor lead for that http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DACIA-DUSTER-2012-ONWARDS-FAKRA-DIN-STEREO-AERIAL-HARNESS-ADAPTOR-MAST-ANTENNA-/360624425729?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item53f6e40b01

Spotted this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTORADIO-DVD-GPS-NAVI-BT-RADIO-IPOD-Player-RENAULT-DACIA-DUSTER-LOGAN-SANDERO-/261229511679?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3cd27e03ff It's more expensive but you don't need to buy a fascia adaptor for it. Looks good but I've not seen one in the flesh so to speak.

Good thinking, you could put your own sat nav software on it too if the supplied version doesn't come up to scratch.

I had the same problem m8, it seems like a half baked conversion from an iPhone idea, I gave up on it pretty quickly and have not missed it.
