I thought we could do with a long running thread for MPG. I know this has been talked about and questioned a few times. It would be interesting to see how the weather and driving styles effect mpg on the three different engines.

I have a 1.2 and we got 37 mpg to the first tank. Not quite what I was hoping for.

I have a 1.2 Sandero too, and I got about 38mpg on my first tank.

The engine felt very tight then.

With 4,500 miles now it is loosening up nicely, and I get low to mid 40's mpg now.

Considering the type of driving I do, I'm well pleased with that.

Sounds about right then. Will keep it updated as the mileage goes up

I have been running the 1.2 Laureate since July 2013, check out my fuel log, I have just updated it today. My mileage is upto 3800 miles now and the engine and gearbox are a bit looser now. Economy is pretty decent at the low 40s, longer runs can see you hitting 50ish mpg on long A road runs at around 40-55mph. Also using the cruise control is not as economical as using your right foot.
