Today I picked up my Duster 4x2 Dci in Laurette trim.

It was a two week wait that felt like forever.

Only covered 30 miles so far.

Amazingly quiet even at 70mph (compared to my old car).

Have to keep watching the revs in 1st and 2nd as I don't want to rev over 2,500rpm.

It's also deceptively quick. 50mph comes up very quickly.

Love the cruise control but still getting used to it. just feels odd.

Does anyone know if it has hill start assist ?

So glad I went for the Media Nav system (even if the sat nav moans if I go too fast for the road section).

Easy peasy bluetooth hook up. works a treat .

Only one gripe and it's not with the car.

I registered on the 30th March so had to tax it for the whole month of March. boo to the government.

So glad I took my time many months ago trying different cars and settled on the Duster. very impressed.

Hill start assist - sit on hill in first gear with foot on brake - take foot off brake and put it on again you will feel it take a grip - when you take foot off again to move off you will feel the car hold where it is for a few seconds until you move off.

It took a few days to get used to it but I got there in the end.

I do think it's a pointless gimmick as good clutch control and diesel low down torque makes this item useless

more as a note to myself than anyone else but the first tank refill came to 41 litres for 418 miles covered.

works out to an average of 45mpg (car trip meter shows 47mpg). So the trip computer is not far off
