I now have a late 2018 new model Duster 1.5DCi Prestige.

When driving I get an occasional shudder where the whole car shakes similar to driving over a line of "cats eyes" or getting a sudden puncture. I have pulled in to the side of the road and it resolves itself very quickly. I only have it four week's - happens circa once per week - being driven very little at the moment.

No warning light's come on and there are no fault codes stored - i have scanned it with my two elm327's..

If I take it to the Dacia Dealer they will tell me there is nothing wrong with it as there are no stored faults.

Any suggestion's as to what is causing this. I presume a fuel issue of some kind.

Hi there

How much mileage does your Duster have?

I have the 2016 model and at 1250rpm or so, the vehicle would vibrate exactly like you have described. To the "T".

I took it to a workshop here in SA and they told me it was the flywheel. I had the dual mass flywheel and clutch kit replaced, vibration gone completely. Driving as smooth as silk.

I hope for your sake it isn't the flywheel, though. Pricey affair.

Lowflyer

Thank you for that. Mine has only 39K KMS - hopefully not the DMF.
