I have looked in the hand book for how to find the oil dipstick

I have unscrewed the yellow cap where you top up oil and that looks like the dipstick is attached to it. It will not pull out.

Any ideas or am I looking in the wrong place

and no dipstick jokes

Need to put some effort into it. They're a bit tight

I can see this thread moving into innuendo territory fast. However, my dipstick seemed a bit stiff also, but I didn't need to give it a real ol' yank to get it to finally give way. If it seems overly reluctant to come out, call your dealer SilverD. If they tell you to give it a good yank and the cap comes away, then it's theirs/Dacia's problem, not yours. (Make sure you get the dealership advisor's name.)
