Orange Air Bag Warning Light is Being Displayed

Hello again. Thank you to those who replied to my other recent questions. I have a Dacia Stepway 2018 Plate

My Orange Air Bag Warning Light has suddenly come up and will not go out after turning the ignition on. As its Air Bags, I am worried that they might not inflate if I had an accident. Secondly, would this be an MOT Failure ?

If anyone has any advice, that would help me to fix this issue it would be appreciated.

Yes, an illuminated airbag light at MoT would be a failure.

Have you done any work that might have caused a module plug to become detached?

There are wires and connectors under the front seats. These can loosen and caused the warning light. I had same issue resolved by making sure all connections were firmly pushed together.

The 'hanging wire' is under the driver's seat only. That's for the 'pretensioner'.

Is it the orange airbag warning that tells you that the front passenger airbag is enabled? if so, it does stay on for quite a while but should extinguish a few minutes after setting off.
