I took delivery of a brand new Dacia Sandero 2 weeks ago and last night, for no apparent reason the car wouldn’t start and the message on the screen said ‘Place Card On Zone + Start’
I had No idea at all what that meant or where the ‘zone’ was, so a very frustrating 45 minute wait until magically the card started working again and the car started.
I have now found info in the manual, see photos. The ‘zone’ is just below the handbrake.
still no idea why this happened, but hope this helps if it happens to someone else
