Judging by the youtube videos of them being built in the factory the answer is yes - they are mounted in holes.

Dacia decided to make the change after they built your car so they decided it shouldn't have the new logo. Beware that if you change the grill to the new style you should be prepared to declare that if you sell the car, otherwise you could be at risk of being judged to have defrauded the buyer by making them think the car is newer than it actually is.

My car should have had the new logo, the new logo was brought out at least six months before I bought my car I just got old stock.

Precisely - you bought old stock. You also missed out on the free three-year map updates too.
When I went to order my car they had a brand new one in the correct colour sat in the dealership. It had the old grill and logo and was available instantly - except it wasn't the model I wanted. It was considerably cheaper than the new models with the new grill.
