It's a dealer or Renault specialist with the correct equipment.
There is unofficial software called DDT4ALL together with a ELM327 plugged into the OBD socket, if you are computer literate ! Search the forum for details !

The two earlier methods in the manual are:-
1) Press the stalk button till the service menu appears. Press & hold till it flashes & gets reset. In the new Duster the arrow keys on the steering wheel work the same way.
2) IGN on > press & hold down Accel pedal > press brake pedal thrice > release both together (all in 10").

Try above 2 methods. If they don't work tell me if u have a Bluetooth OBD adapter.

Service Interval Light not resetting

I have a 2017 Duster Prestige. When I turn on the ignition for the last few week's the Service Light is on. Today the "Warning Light Malfunction" is also on in Orange. I have tried both methods of resetting the Service Light i.e. holding down the Accelerator and pressing the Brake Pedal 3/4...

Hi did you get this sorted without having to buy one tool? If you took it to dealer how much did they charge? Have same issue.

We found someone last night that will reset service light for £20, only of use if you're in Surrey/W.Sussex though. Doubt I can post contact details here but if anyone wants them in future let me know.

Remember, you can't do any 'damage' or changes unless and until you click on the Einstein symbol at the end, as mentioned in the post, so you won't do any harm if you get into it and have a look around.

Wifi and Bluetooth are different protocols, dongles normally use only one but you should be able to connect your device with either. If Cat Scanner does not work Dacia Service Reset probably won't but no harm in trying. All dongles should connect it just all will not write. Does Car Scanner establish a connection to the car, does your device see the dongle?

P.S. You will have to temporarily disconnect any other networks or devices in Settings. The dongles are "standalone".

(I got my Duster 1.5dCi 4WD w/ the service reminder disabled. I recently enabled it to see if the mentioned Apps work & both work. Personally I don't need it as I have a dedicated all brand scanner w/ about 30 service functions).

U said u have a WiFi OBD adapter & u mentioned Car Scanner & Dacia service reset apps. Have u been able to make a connection to the computer (IGN on) w/ the Car Scanner app & does it display your vehicle parameters as a table or dashboard? U wanted to use the latter App.

I have 5 adapters incl 2 of the latest Konnwei BT ver 5.0. If nothing is mentioned on the Konnwei it is BT 3.0.

I have used the Konnwei 902 BT 5.0 for this job. The required 'PIC18F25K80 chip' can be seen in the dismantled adapter. I tried the top left BT adapter also & it works. Don't ever buy or use the blue one seen on top right, which may also be white. The one below that is a WiFi unit.

As u wanted to use the Dacia service reset app (ver 0.50 @ time of writing):-

* 2 pics of the App in Play Store & Open App in my phone.

* Keep DATA on > After 'CONNECT' & on exiting the App there will be a full screen ad. Focus on top right. 'Skip Video' will appear after 5 secs > Press Skip > then the close (X) mark will appear on top rt > press that. After connecting > Reset > all dash lights will flash & the interval will be reset. Exit.

The service interval is 10k km in India. Just for documentation I have reset it from 9900 to 10k km. I took these pics @ an angle due to the glare.

If you don't want to have to sit in your car to test the WiFi or Bluetooth connection. you can power up the dongle using a 12 Volt supply. Connecting pin 16 to 12 volt and either 4 or 5 to 0 V.

A desktop PC will provide 12 V on the yellow wire of a spare disk drive connector. Alternatively a 9 Volt battery may suffice although i have not tried it.

P.S. Experimented with one of my dongles and a variable PSU. and Car Scanner connected via Bluetooth 10 foot away with the voltage as low as 4 V. Tends to suggest it is using CMOS chips.

P.P.S The above was LTE tried another and it connected at 5.5 V
