I have had my access model over a week now and am having trouble fitting a stereo. I have replaced the facia to the correct one. I bought leads to connect the stereo up and they don't seem to be the correct leads. I have also bought a new kenwood stereo as I couldn't find the connector leads for my previous Panasonic one. I am wondering if anyone could tell me where they got their's or show me a picture of the correct ones. Thank you in advance.

If you look in the tutorial section you will find just the info that you are looking for.

There is one written by Plisken that details a single din fit to an Access

see http://www.daciaforum.co.uk/tutorials/article/14-sandero-access-double-din-to-single-din-fascia-conversion/

There is also one written by myself which documents swappinf out the factory fit Sandero Stereo with a Kenwood double din one Which includes a list of all the parts I used (not all will be valid for fitting to a Access mind as I chose to fir the Steering control adapor as well.

see http://www.daciaforum.co.uk/tutorials/article/15-how-to-fit-double-din-dabnavbt-stereo-to-a-sandero/

I have already fitted the single din facia to the car. The problem I am having is getting the correct cables for my stereo to connect it. Do I need to fit speakers to my access model also. The cables I have received are for fitting the steering control adaptor which I don't need. I cant find leads without this option.

You will require a Connects2 CT20DC01 (http://www.connects2.co.uk/ProductInformation.aspx?id=14279&p=CT20DC01) wiring harness which will allow you to connect the stereo and then you will need speakers for the doors there are threads on here that detail that bit (http://www.daciaforum.co.uk/topic/531-yet-another-beware-re-pre-wired-speakers/) but I would suggest you get the door trims of and measure the apertures before you buy as this may save you time later.

I believe the Access is pre wired for the speakers in the front but not the rear and you may have to adapt this wiring as I know others have had issues here.

Dont forget that you will probably need a FAKRA to DIN Antenna adaptor as well.

You can find both items here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Liquid-ICE-2008/_i.html?rt=nc&_nkw=dacia&_sid=727540097&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=1 but there will be other sources as well.

I have fitted the stereo. I ordered the correct speakers made for the car and Arnold Clark tried to fit them and have told me their is no pre wiring and are asking for a ridiculous amount of money to wire the car. The web site specifically says that the speakers are pre wired. Would Arnold Clark try and pull a fast on do you think??

Can someone please list an up to date speaker size for the Sandero Access, yes I know there are detailed fitting posts but they got the speaker sizing wrong and had to make larger templates from plywood, I believe it is either a 16.5cm or 17cm speaker but im not sure if even these are correct, I want to purchase the speakers and have everything ready for fitting rather than have to rip off door panels to get sizes surely someone can give an up to date definitive size? obviously any makes, pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Steve
