Hi all. I’ve recently bought a Stepway Extreme with 205/60 R16 sized wheels.
I’m looking to buy either a space saver or normal spare wheel.

I had a similar thing with my last car Honda Jazz and managed to get a really good wheel plus jack etc from eBay.

Dacia can only provide the basic 15” wheel with no tyre for £213.00.

Has anyone bought a spare from one of these places like spare wheel city. I’ve one offer from eBay but i for a 15” wheel - surely that’s not right is it.

Any help appreciated as due to go on a longish trip middle of October.

Kind regards David

i specced both of my previous 2x Dusters with full-size spare wheels from new, but my latest 2nd hand Duster didn't have one.

i ordered one from TheWheelShop on ebay, after searching for the right size and model. £185 all in: wheel; tyre; jack and wheelbrace.

thankfully, the 3rd-gen Duster has a cavity inside the boot for it, rather than having to buy a separate cage for under the floor!

they list a 16" spare for your Sandero - with tyre & tools - for £130 + £20 shipping:

That's a real worry, how are you or anyone else going to be able to change a wheel in the event of a puncture (assuming you don't rely on the aerosol can -gunk-goo?
The problem is usually the spigot at the centre of the hub/locating hole in the centre of the wheel - a little corrosion causes them to bind and difficult to remove. He should have cleaned whatever was causing the issue and applied copper-slip or similar.
What company was it?
