Notised in my new stepway , it has no temperture gauge for the engine , oil, Water temp like other cars....am i the only one WHO miss to look at that? I mean how to know if engine is allright??

...I also wondered about the temp gauge, as most of my previous cars had one, but as Giffer says - there's a warning light for that...

...and I also noticed that my wife's Toyota Aygo has a light rather than a separate gauge, so it's not just Dacia that's cutting corners!

There is a warning light that will come on if the engine is too hot.
I wonder what indication we get if the engine is running cold. For example if the thermostat fails open, this has happened to me and is quite a common failure mode. The only way to tell, is if the heater takes ages to blow out hot air.

Im a bit suprised something as simple as that is ommitted, whether you choose to look at it or not is up to the individual but its a very cheap early warning indicator. When the light pings on how hot is it running?
