Been doing a little bit of surfing looking and comparing prices..found that I could get a genuine oil filter for my 0.9tce steppy for £8 and the same part off ebay for nearly £16.

http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/dacia/dacia-152095084r-filter/

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dacia-oil-filter-152095084R-Genunie-/191232711070

I will be doing more comparisons as I find them..so for now Au revoir..
Phil !

I don't wish to 'steal your thunder' but here's something that needs researching, brake pads & discs. All sorts of part numbers (wrong) come up when you delve into them to find genuine Renault/Dacia part numbers.

 This is your task for today, find the part number and a good source/price !!

I know that these fit :-

MDB3360 MINTEX Brake Pad Set disc brake front

( 400942200237 )

MDC2525 MINTEX Brake Disc front PAIR

( 291497534532 )

There seems to be a contradiction on some of the sites with regards to disc height..some say 41mm other 44mm its the same with mine although the Dci might be using a different calliper from the petrol versions..

I need to get a wheel off on mine to check disc height but I am pretty much confidant that I will find the specs like this..TRW are a very good make..

https://www.rexbo.eu/trw/brake-disc-df6534?c=100032&at=50019

Renault part number for that disc is

http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/renault/renault-402062212r-disque-frein-av/

I would whole heartedly recommend taking of a wheel and checking the disc height and at the same time checking on the calliper for a manufacturer name ..possibly ATE..when I have the calliper I can then do a indepth search..mintex discs are very good by the way but I personally dont like their pads..my personal favourite is the EBC ultimax pad and I have done a little search and it looks like the Dci90 and my 0.9Tce use the same pad

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EBC-ULTIMAX-FRONT-PADS-DPX2146-DACIA-SANDERO-1-5-D-90-BHP-2012-/121476548422?hash=item1c48910746:g:xz0AAOSwrx5UVYwF

I used these discs on my clio3 which carry the same specs as the renault product..100pcd..height 44..hole size 61 etc..what I liked about them is they put a small chamfer on the edge of the disc and by doing that no rust accumulates there..the EBC pads have a bed in coating and from day one they give excellent braking some boxes also carry a fibre pad which you stick on the metal side of the pas this stops any brake squeal ..some boxes also carry the correct type of brake grease not copper slip which should not be used near rubber seals..

Phil ! Thanks for your research !!

I have taken my wheels off to check the shape/size.

You obviously have found the same contradictions in part numbers as I did awhile ago, thats why I thought that a different brain on the subject may come up with the answer !!

The Mintex ones I know will fit as someone has posted them previously, with 'photos. It's a case of finding the right 'shape' pads as the Mintex ones are with the Dacia/Renault part number to correctly cross reference !! ;)

So its just pads you want ? and you want a list of pads cross referenced from the mintex part number ..

Thanks for what you have found. I have done some cross referencing myself from your research and found quite a few part numbers for the correct pads, which I think I will need in the summer, going by the ware I noticed when I took the wheels off. The discs don't look too good either ! I will no doubt get a report on the state of them both upon my 2 year service next month !! One things for sure, Renault/Dacia wont be changing them !!

Have you any preference for make with the pads.. :) I have quite a list but it would cut it down if you have a preference..I just have to go through the list sorting out what fits..little taster for you can define a part from that is quite easy..

http://www.stavparts.co.uk/parts/search/410605612R/dacia

My preference is still the EBC ultimax pad..
Useful list ! After a bit of research I have also decided on the EBC ones:-

EBC Ultimax OE Replacement Front Brake Pads ( Pair ) - DPX2146

Good morning Roger..I think you will be happy with the results and choice..the surface of the pad has a conditioning layer which aids bedding in far quicker than any other brand ..I have used them on the last 3 cars I have owned and been very happy with the results..are you fitting them yourself ?

Good man thats the spirit..always make sure you give the calliper a good clean before fitting the new pads ..brake cleaner where possible helps to remove much of the dust and goo that comes from brake pads..Happy fitting mate you will have saved yourself a few bob on this one and end up with a big :) and feeling of satisfaction when completed.. ;)

I still don't mind doing simple job like pads & discs. It's things like drive shafts & clutches that I've given up on. Don't like laying on my back on the drive for long periods any more !!

I use ultimax [blackstuff] on my cars now and find them totally adequate but when I did modifications to my breaking systems I used the greens because groove or slotted rota's would soon ware down the black stuff..the thing with the greens is they take longer to warm up so your braking from cold tends to be slightly under par..they did change their compound on the green some years back but by then I had become Mr. sensible and not a boy racer but like most of us still have that need for speed [on private roads of course ] ;)
