I will finally collect my Duster Laureate 4x4 from Perrys tomorrow, Thurs, and wondered if there were any points that I should speciffically look out for when checking over my vehicle?

I have seen the thread about rear power sockets but wondered if there were any other 'features' of a Duster that I should look out for?

TIA

I don't know of any issues with current Phase 2 Laureates.

I couldn't find anything wrong with mine, you do have to mentally adjust to the old-school charm of panel gaps which are visible from outer space, bags of room under the bonnet and a massive battery.

You'll find it a comfy old bus, which really goes well on the open road - don't forget to run it in (max 2500 revs for 900 miles) :)

Do the usual perimeter check for dings and dents, check under the bonnet for any signs of bodywork rust on the wing bolts (shouldn't be an issue now they've moved to Romania).

When you drive away remember to start off in 2nd, 1st on the 4x4 is for off roading only.

Buy bling, plenty of threads about the little extras :)
