Had most of mine re glued three times. If I had another I would not have them fitted.

 

Oh not sounding too good, could be a recall on adventurer pack till it's adhesion problems are resolved. Will post again tomorrow once I have an answer from the dealer. Any ideas on an aftermarket option for this that works ?

 

Personally speaking it is down to good prep. The 3M tape is excellent if the surface is totally grease free. The wipes that come with the kit are not adequate. I used paint prep wipes followed by isopropanol on a lint free cloth. I can imagine the import centre being less than caring about good prep, that's why I chose to fit them myself.

 

Righty Ho, We now have an update on the issue with the Adventurer pack. Took my dealer 2 weeks to come back to me on this with a pile of drivel. According to him he had been trying to contact me for 4 days ! well my phone is working fine and so is my email !! Anyhoo, he says that Dacia have told him there is a body shape change on the Prime model of the Duster and thus Adventurer pack won't fit !! Took him 2 weeks to come up with that one. SO, yesterday I contacted Dacia direct and had a call back within the hour with the real reason there is an issue. Adventurer pack was DISCONTINUED in 2014 !!! So that is why I can't get it fitted to my new Duster. Question now is why does a brochure clearly dated April 2015 still list the Adventurer pack as an accessory. SO now I argue with dealer and Dacia saying with this delay my new Duster is now at the dealer and I was not given an alternative option to be fitted before it left the import centre. Fighting them to get the Styling pack fitted at the same price as the Adventurer pack, lets see what happens later today. OH and always check the paper work for your new Dacia, found my dealer charging me for items already included with the car. Don't Trust A Sales person my Mother always says. Update to follow..........................

 

I have the door and wheel arch mouldings that I bought independently off eBay from Spain (genuine Dacia). I can try and supply the link if you wish.

Here we go. Dacia says dealers problem, and guess what, yup, you're right, dealer blames Dacia. So still fighting for something for the severe inconvenience caused to me and severe lack of communication from my dealer let alone their no knowledge of what products they are selling. Duster has been at dealers since the weekend and as yet hasn't even had its PDI and prep work done. Ready to give up and go get something else, NOT from arnold clark.........

These are the links for the wheel arch and door mouldings, these door mouldings have chrome accents I am not sure if the others are still available. In addition they also have mats, flaps , armrests etc. Have a look.
