In the interests of protecting the consumers, and seeing multiple posts/topics discussing the potential (and realisation) of rust appearing on brand new, white Dusters, please comment below if you've got the beginnings of a white, rusty Duster. No brand new car should have rust appearing, that is a sign on corrosion, which if it is internal, will not stop!

Its 6 years, gets extended to 7 years once you have had the recall.
Just my experience.. but in hindsight I should have paid greater attention to what I was allowing them to do.
Basically, there is a checklist they run through, and certain work they don't need Dacia's approval to carry out. This can be interpreted as 'take Dacia for a ride with the repair bill'
As a customer, I would have liked to have been able to approve the work identified in the inspection. I would not have allowed the replacement scuttle and wings for a start - they were fine but now I have uneven shut lines and two shades of white, besides the damage done in the process.
Just keep your eye on things.

In my case, life's too short to make any more fuss.
Customer services agreed it was poor work and wanted it to go back, the bodyshop tried to suggest I'd fabricated the damage but would look at it again at further cost to Dacia... who agreed, but in the end I didn't want them to get any further work so accepted some $ from Dacia to sort it out myself.
I think this recall has been a bit of a cash cow for the Renault bodyshops to be honest.

Funnily enough thats one of the problems mine came back with - they had broken the headlamp aim adjustment cable.

The paint campaign inspection did not cover the whole car - just areas specified by Dacia, such as wings, tailgate, scuttle for instance.
I have an obvious rust spot on the underside of on of the rear doors - you would not miss it, but the bodyshop ignored it as it was not on the list.
Regardless of the campaign, just call customer services and ask them what to do.

Lack of paint for sure, its so thin its transparent in some areas, but poor seals allow water to run inside doors and tailgate too.

My 2013 Indian Access breaks your rulesIf it's got a chrome DUSTER on the tail gate, it's Indian. If it's got a black plastic with silver DUSTER letters, it's Romanian !!

Yes - I ordered the moment the website went live thinking I'd try and buy the very first one - the website took my order but failed to tell Dacia.. so it took a few weeks to find out. CS did sent me some prezzies though for buying one of the firsttigersaw !

Went to look at the rear plastic today - just to make sure its still black! Noticed the rubber trim around it has come away both sides, as it was only held on by the wet paint at the recall and not assembled correctly, and as all the new paint is coming off... What a f*****g mess they made of my car.

I would avoid any that have been repaired / treated -- the paint warranty is worthless if the workmanship is so poor.
As an aside, I had a email from the dealer offering 'excellent trade in deals on a new model' - half a mind to take it in for evaluation, and when they point out it looks like a patchwork quilt I'll be able to tell them that's the result of their own body shop, who said there was nothing wrong with it.

Are they the same colour? I had 2 new wings fitted, different bloody shade of white.
