In the interests of protecting the consumers, and seeing multiple posts/topics discussing the potential (and realisation) of rust appearing on brand new, white Dusters, please comment below if you've got the beginnings of a white, rusty Duster. No brand new car should have rust appearing, that is a sign on corrosion, which if it is internal, will not stop!

Been a Dacia convert for about 6 months now, basically switched our 2 family cars to a Sandero (new) and a 3 year old Duster. Had read on here about the early rust issues so knew to keep an eye on it, and as it transpired did spot a bit of rust on one of the rear doors a few weeks ago. On contacting the dealer who then forwarded details to Dacia, it turns out they'd been chasing my car for a few months of the previous owner to bring it in to have the paintwork sills etc checked and redone, mine was 1 of 2 of the Indian batch in N Ireland they'd still been looking for.
Anyway, its due to be booked in in a few weeks time to have any issues remedied etc. Hopefully that'll be a painless process.

cheers will do, yeah the Dacia guy on the phone talked about how they'd redo this and that and the other, good idea will take plenty of photos
yeah when I went to my dealer about the rust he said its a 10 year body warranty no matter how long you've owned the car, so fingers crossedthats good to know that dacia cs are looking after secondhand buyers aswell
well this was word of mouth from the service desk where I bought it who was directing me to the actual authorised dealer for body work so she could well be wrongon my warranty t&c it says 6 years just checked
just got the bodyshop call there for the "Dacia Enhancement" as they put it lol booked in for 9th January!!! so yeah will take photos etc before that to make sure its as good or better when it comes back - there's only 1 authorised Dacia body shop over here in N Ireland despite the other Dacia/Renault dealers having their own body shops
well my 9th January date to get the rust fixed didn't happen, the only authorised dealer for the paintwork in N Ireland doesn't have a courtesy car for me to use despite this being ongoing since 31 October lol, currently awaiting a callback from Dacia CS to see if they'll issue a kick up the arse to get it moving, apparently "Dacia took all our courtesy Dusters back at Christmas because the enhancement program was finished"....well you've still my car and another one owned by someone else to sort out how about actually sorting it out grrrr.......
