Sorry, I'm not very tech savvy but I'm hoping someone can help me!
I've just brought a 2016 Stepway and upgraded the medianav to 4.1 but my phone (Google pixel 3xl) isn't compatiblevia USB at all. It plays music through Bluetooth but that's all it does and the songs skip quite a lot which drive me mad.
Now, if I was to upgrade my phone to an iPhone would it be compatible? Would I be able to play through USB? Does this version of the medianav work with apple carplay or is that asking too much?!
Would love to be able to use Google maps because my maps version is quite old and don't want to pay to update it!

Your MediaNav is a MN1 Standard which is first version installed in these cars. This version is very limited and doesn't know about Android Auto, Google Maps, etc.
For have this features you have to change your MediaNav with version MN3 Evolution 2.0. These units are a lot more powerfull.
Your MN1 have 256MB RAM and 4GB memory from which only 2.8GB space for navigation files.
MN3 have 1GB RAM and 8GB memory from which 4GB is space for navigation files.
I have a MN3 in section for sale if you are interested.
