Got the Stepway Laureate 0.9 tce spec

I got the Dacia finance deal that gave me £400 deposit from Dacia and they extended my warranty to 5yrs from 3 yrs.

 

Started off looking at the price of a Sandero Access, bottom of the range. Ended up with a Sandero Stepway Laureate dCi with metallic paint, top of the range !! Love it to bits !! I took out a 7 year warranty later, when they were virtually half price in 2014. Also 3 year Service Plan and I am now on my second 3 year Service Plan, more than pleased with the price to get the genuine Dacia service stamps.

 

Ambiance with the 'new' small petrol engine. After 3 or 4 tanks, seem to be getting about 46 mpg with ECO and stop/start permanently on, but mileage is another topic. Quite happy with that, considering car size. (Total 22 miles a day for to and from work, non-motorway.)

It has a 3-year guarantee. (Maybe I would have got 5 if I'd taken out finance.) Not extended yet. But I THINK you have until just before 3 years clicks over before extending to make up your mend, so I'm hanging on.

2-year pre-paid servicing was suggested by the dealer. Seemed a reasonable cost, so I upped it to 3 for not too much more. 3 seemed a better deal.

 

Slightly higher spec here "unlimited".

I took one for a test drive and it's much better than I expected. Gotta wait 2 months

 

White Tce laureate. And as financed comes with 5 years warranty

 

Was that factory build or already made mines factory order 6feb 2014 at dealers brechin 26 march on road 1 April stepway t c e blue

 

Ordered on the 9th of November from Mackie Motors, then was told it had arrived on the 28th November. Didnt pick up till middle of December as it was the only time I could get down at weekend to Brechin.

 

Allygray how long did u wait for ur stepway then

 

Laureate DCI 90 and also timed it right and got the free 2 year extension on the warranty

 

just back from the dealers.......ordered a white Stepway Ambiance dCi

 

Yep, same here.... ordered the dci90 last Saturday in white and came with the five year warranty for free. I fully intend to keep it for five years anyway, so getting that free was a big help.

Also, I dunno if it was just my dealer but the diamondbrite was only £160 on the day. Might be 'special' on that day, but it can't hurt to try and get that cheaper when you order (as they obviously CAN do so.).

 

Laureate DCI 90 and got a free extended 2 year warranty. happy days.

 

Haven't ordered yet but will be doing so in December.

Going for an Ambience diesel in white (cheaper). Wouldn't normally bother with the 5 year warranty but it's free until 31/12 so rude not to have it.

I will check as much as I can. Thanks for the advice Geraint. The standard Bluetooth/USB/CD player originally fitted to the Duster looks identical to the one which ships with the Stepway Ambience, so I'm pretty confident that the aperture in the facia will be the same, and that the GPS head unit you have highlighted will fit in the Stepway. Obviously, I don't want to void my warranty, so I'll be very careful and check with the dealer before carrying out any mods.

 

Thanks Geraint. I hadn't spotted that thread! I thought the Duster unit looked as though it was the same shape, but I wasn't sure. Looks like a good unit. Definitely worth considering!

 

Due to pick up my new Stepway Ambience Diesel (white) in a week or two. To be honest, I would have gone for the Laureate as I think the Medianav looks very useful, but my bank balance just wouldn't stretch quite that far. It's a pity you don't seem to be able to buy the Medianav as an added extra for the Ambience, as I could have managed another £300. I'm looking at getting a third party sat-nav instead.

ive had my Laureate for 4 days now in White (Petrol). didnt bother with the warranty at this point as I dont know if ill kepp the car beyond the 3 years tbh. its my first car and i need to settle into it first

 

Ordered the tce laureate in white .... Pick up next Saturday

Here the Stepway only comes in one trim....wich is not ambiance or laureate uk models...is a mix. It's the same as Laureate but...with no leather seats and no parking sensors. The parking sensors are extra...the leather seats are not.

 

Bought the dci laureate in blue with 7 years extended 'cos I plan to cover quite a bit of mileage

 

just ordered stepway Laureate TCe 90 in red

 

We've ordered a Stepway too and are opting for a 5 year warranty. Probably over kill but after the issues we've had with our current car, it's peace of mind.
