Just purchased a brand new Duster Diesel and when shown where to put the plus Blue the fuel flap would not open. Took the salesman pulling the lever and me pulling the flap to get it open. When I drove into a garage to fill up with fuel I was unable to open the flap and had to get assistance. It took over a week to get it booked in for the garage to fix it and it is still roughly the same. The garage said that others had reported the same problem so why isn't this being fixed. I notified the garage that the problem still exists and 2 days later still haven't heard from them is this normal?

I picked my Duster up on Saturday. Mine is petrol. It was delayed by about 3 weeks and one of the (numerous) reasons given was a repair needed to be done on the fuel flap and that Dacia had stopped all new Dusters being sent out to dealerships before the modification had been done.
I sent a message direct to Dacia about it and they confirmed a problem with the fuel flap but said that it was a quick 20 minute fix and to contact my dealer if I had any concerns.
Apparently mine has already been done, and I've had no problem with the flap. When I pull the lever it pops open.

Have the same issue on my 2023 journey. Clearly this has not been resolved as the dealer has 5 part sets on back order.
Where are you meant to put the grease please as I also cannot open the filler flap om my 2019 Duster
