Every night another oner of a duster got rust issue
It's because if either Dacia or Dealerships dealt with these rust or paint performance issues with good old fashioned customer service people wouldn't feel the need to rant. If I ran my business like that I would go out of business, they seem to have little morals. They even had the nerve to say you can't believe anything you read of forums! It is a good job you can't smell cow dung when on the phone to them.

It just smells of one big coverup rather than coming clean. I always try to be level headed and thought maybe this issue was with only the select few who like to cause trouble but no it is simply not the case. I bought into Dacia marketing more fool me. Luckily I can reject the vehicle but the dealership want to string you along.

Renault retail seem to take the approach that just because it is a budget brand customer services can be sloppy so say the least. Time and time again they spin a yarn and break promises, it is disgusting how they treat customers!

So prob there could be 100 rusty dusters going about made ex India all over the world (wat dacia doing about it ). I went on to one them sites that search for the cheapest vehicle going around the question asked was Rustie duster asket twice no reply ??? are all sales ignore the out come of Rustie vehicles
Nope sorry, read through that several times and I'm mystified. Is it code?

Mike is, I think, one of the elder statesmen of the forum, and as such is less accustomed to the use of smartphone / tablet technology than some. You get used to his syntax through time :)

No call from Renault Retail so my wife took to Facebook as she has now had more than enough of being fobbed off by Dacia I mean Renault (whoever the are), who funnily commented within a few minutes of the post advising someone would call. Nothing after an hour so she posted a picture of the rust on our new car & threatened to post more every hour if she didn't receive a call. 5 minutes later a call funny that!

The rejection process has been confirmed just need to work out the finer details on how things will unfold.

We should have an update this afternoon, if not I guess the wife will be back on Facebook with a few more dirty pictures

Anyone who has issues it seems social media is the only path to take to be taken seriously, it is a shame that it can't be dealt with professionally in the first place.

Sure has messed up our half term plans though

Today I received a letter from Renault Finance informing me that my agreement was ÂŁ206.25 overdue. Highly likely as I cancelled the direct debit after the Ombudsman's ruling.
More to the point Renault Finance your payment of ÂŁ8650 to me is overdue. Cheeky Bast@ÂŁds.
Pinged email off to Ombudsman.

As you say :- Cheeky Bast@ÂŁds

If I had a pound for every county court judgement in my favour I would be a fairly rich man, as it is I'm not all I ever had was a credit on the VAT - enforcement is always the issue - but I wouldn't have expected problems with a fine upstanding company like Renault Finance. I bet you get a letter threatening legal action - they never learn do they . . .

Be very careful over this course of action. Withholding payment for whatever reason will almost certainly destroy your credit rating making it very difficult to borrow in the future.
He has a ruling and instruction from the Ombudsman to Renault informing them they they must not do this and to remove any existing notes.

Spoke to the FSA adjudicator this morning. She informed me that she contacted Renault Finance after receiving my email. They said they would get back to her, they didn't. She is going to contact them again today and email me their response. She also confirmed that I was right to cancel my direct debit as this should have been done previously by Renault Finance.
